HLDW March Meeting

Please join us at Hidden Falls Bistro and Bar, 220 Meadowlakes Drive, Meadowlakes TX 78654  on Thursday March 23 at 11:30 am, check in at 11:15 am.

Our speakers will be Paul and Barbara King, who have made their home in the Texas Hill Country since 2007. Shortly after their arrival in the Marble Falls community, they became active volunteers at their church and at a variety of local non-profit organizations. Seven years ago, they became volunteers at the Helping Center. Paul currently serves as president of the board, and Barbara serves as a member of the advisory council and as coordinator of the LEARN for LIFE education program. In 2019, alongside others, they led a project to raise funds and coordinate construction of the new Helping Center facility, which opened in January of 2021. The center currently serves clients over 15,000 times each year, distributing more than 500,000 pounds of food annually.

After the meeting, Hidden Falls Bistro has graciously agreed to make the bar area available to HLDW for a Social Get Together. Since there is never enough time to visit, we will move to the bar for cookies, beverages and fellowship. Hope you can join in!
