HLDW Holiday Open House and Scholarship Fundraiser

Highland Lakes Democratic Women held their Christmas Open House on Saturday,  Dec 10. This get- together was a wonderful opportunity for the members to have a chance to visit, but also to celebrate the success of the Scholarship Fundraiser. 

HLDW has several Scholarship Fundraisers each year … one of the most enjoyable is the Holiday Cookie Sale. Every holiday season the HLDW members bake dozens and dozens of cookies to package and sell. This year enough money was raised to more than cover the cost of a scholarship given to a woman returning to school or just starting her education. This is one of our favorite goals to meet each year.
