Mary Kathryn Kane, President
Mary Kathryn is a graduate of Texas Tech with a BA in Social Work minor in Spanish and Sociology. After working in sales most of her adult life, she retired to Horseshoe Bay six years ago where she enjoys fishing, swimming and boating. She served as the Membership Chair for the Highland Lakes Democratic Women 2020 - 2022 and was elected President of the organization for 2023 and 2024.

Ann Stevenson, Vice President
Ann has been an active community volunteer in her home state of Michigan with a long career
in sales, retiring as a sales manager of an automotive OEM electronics company. Retirement took her family to the Florida Keys where they enjoyed the island life for seven years then in 2007 found their way to the hill country. Active since 2017 with this amazing and talented group of women. |
Laura Rippy, TreasurerLaura moved from Houston to Marble Falls in 1998. She retired from the Burnet County Auditor's Office and now is the acting Treasurer for HLDW.

Sandra Chapman, SecretarySandra is a former Global Account Manager and Telecom Engineer for AT&T and Dell, Inc. Upon retirement Sandra trained to become a CASA Advocate serving foster children in primarily Burnet and Llano counties and has remained an advocate for 10+ years. She is now the acting Secretary for HLDW.
