There are some parking lots nearby such as the Library, Hanna Springs Pool, Storms, and the old middle school lot on the opposite side of the school. We're now working out the details for a shuttle service for these lots.

This will also be a sendoff and a "we'll miss you" as Dana starts the next chapter in her life!! Thanks to Dana for serving as HLDW President and for everything she's done for the cause. Ms. Capra oversees all Community Resource Centers of Texas, Inc. sites and is the primary liaison for all tenant agencies. Community Resource Centers of Texas mission is to create hope and change futures by joining forces with providers and connection people to resources. Their vision is to see everyone end their day without worries for tomorrow. Their values keep them aligned with their mission. They are a force for good…faith-driven, open hearted, reachable, committed and encouraging. Ms. Capra has spent the majority of her career in the public sector and legal field gaining experience in constituent services, customer relation and resolving client problems. She is also known for her role as the previous Mayor of Johnson City.  New HLDW member Helen Buck, on left, and Jody Mallett enjoyed hearing Dawn Capra speak about Community Resource Centers of Texas.  HLDW member Jeanne Emerson, on left, and speaker Dawn Capra were able to catch up on old times. Jeanne previously held the job that Dawn currently holds at CRC and, in fact, hired Dawn to fill the position…small world. |
