We are excited to announce our first meeting of the year at the Marble Falls Senior Activity Center, on Thursday, January 23, at 2 pm. The Center is located at 618 Avenue L in Marble Falls.
Coffee, tea and cookies will be offered for refreshment. This will be an opportunity for our members to come together as we set our sights on a brighter future. After facing challenges and disappointments last year, we feel it is time to support one another and explore new possibilities for 2025. We invite all members to share their thoughts, ideas and suggestions about the activities and programs that you would like to see implemented in the upcoming year. Let's collaborate and chart a new path forward together.

Holiday Cookie Fundraiser The holiday season is the time for the Highland Lakes Democratic Women’s Cookie Fundraiser benefiting their Scholarship Fund. Each year HLDW grants $1500 scholarships to adult and high school learners. On December 6 the bakers brought their cookies to Nancy Fehr’s house, where an assembly line was set up by Patty Kane, Cookie Chair. Teams assembled the boxes and then passed them on to the next team for finishing touches. A total of $1200 was raised this year and a good time was had by all!

HDLW Christmas Cookies are a highlight of the Season. They're my favorite Christmas treat and make great gifts for friends. Knowing they help fund HLDW scholarships makes them taste even better. I've been getting cookies for years now and I want to say that this year's batch is the best ever. The variety, the decorations, and the presentation are simply wonderful. Bravo to the bakers!
